Dear NARSC Members and future NARSC members: On June 12, 2008 the Board of Directors of NARSC voted unanimously to seek approval from NARSC Owners to become a true non-profit 501(C)6 entity. Attaining 501(C)6 status places us in position as the first TRUE Trade Association to the Mail and Parcel Center Industry.

On June 16th, 2008 the votes were counted and NARSC ownership passed the measure with an astounding 82% to become a 501(C)6.

A 501(C)6 is a not for profit Business Trade Association that is established to support a common business interest. The association will consist of members from the entire spectrum of the Mail and Parcel Industry. We will have independents, franchises and all types of vendors. We will support the chapter network and have grass roots campaigns to promote our common interests and goals.

NARSC will operate as a Not For Profit while we make application to the Internal Revenue Service for 501(C)6 status.

Chapters and benefits will be supported and expanded to give greater value to the members of NARSC.

NARSC is currently acting as an advocate of the Mail and Parcel Industry. We have worked with USPS and TSA to help them recognize the Mail and Parcel Industry. We will continue to grow those relationships for the benefit of our members.
